About Stevie
Naturopathic Doctor (April 26') + Somatic Based Therapist + Dharma Teacher + Reiki Master

Welcome to Future Dr. Stevie launched in April 2025 by Stevie Inghram, M.S., YT, AWC, NMS-4 (She/They). Stevie brings a world of expertise to the realm of science, spirituality, holistic medicine, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy in all of her current roles. You may be wondering what lead Stevie down this path of healing?
Stevie grew-up as a Christian pastor's kid struggling with their identity and faith. Life was quite difficult growing-up as the queer pastor's kid. Later on in college, Stevie was plagued with high anxiety and panic attacks due to many of the experiences she had earlier in life. It was at this point that she was intuitively drawn to both the Dharmic traditions of Yoga and Buddhism. One of the books that was formative in her personal spiritual development was Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh's Living Buddha, Living Christ which she found to be an excellent bridge between her Christian upbringing and Dharmic curiosities.
Over the years, Stevie has developed a strong passion for Eastern philosophy and contemplative practice as all of these traditions seek to guide us into optimal well-being physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Throughout the last 15 years, Stevie's curiosities of health, science, and spirituality deepened through exploration of these practices.
In her current clinical practice, Stevie combines the knowledge she has gained in Naturopathic Medical School along with her training as a Somatic-based Therapist integrating Yogic, Buddhist, and Ayurvedic practices all to teach client's practical and sustainable tools for optimizing their health and well-being.
Stevie is also the Co-Founder and Sangha Director at Daybreak Oneness an online Buddhist Sangha whose approach centers The Way of Oneness which is an inclusive Sangha open for all that seek to learn about Dharmic philosophy and practice. Stevie continues her Dharmic studies at Buddhadharma Studies Institute where she's working to complete a 4-year Certificate of Buddhist Studies (29').
Beyond Stevie's studies, her life's work is primarily focused on researching, advocating, and amplifying the well-being of those in gender & sexually expansive communities (LGBTQIA+). This advocacy is rooted in her spiritual convictions, primarily the Dharmic teaching of Ahimsa, the act of actively disrupting harm in the world. This work is what inspired her favorite phrase, "Do no harm; take no shit."
In this vein, Stevie hosts Queer Story Time The Podcast which serves as a brave space of radical affirmation, acceptance, empowerment, and healing. You can catch the podcast across all major podcasting platforms and on YouTube. As an extension of this podcast, Stevie founded Queer Trans Thriving Mutual Aid Collective to help the most vulnerable of LGBTQIA+ individuals who would not normally have access to holistic queer and trans affirming care.
